Project Overview

The new Central Utility Plant (CUP) will deliver the critical energy, heating, cooling, and backup systems needed to support JPS’s expanding campus.  This project ensures that every new building — from the Psychiatric Emergency Center to the future Hospital — operates in a safe, efficient, and sustainable way. While patients may never step inside, the CUP is one of the most important projects in the Master Facility Plan: it creates the foundation for innovation, resilience, and exceptional care across the network.
